Small Business Pollution Prevention Assistance Account (PPAA) Loan Program

Minimum/Maximum Amounts

$100,000 Maximum, or 75% of total eligible project costs, whichever is less

Eligible Activities

Proceeds must be used to purchase or upgrade equipment, or to implement a process change that reduces or reuses raw material on-site, reduces the production of waste at the source or significantly reduces energy consumption.
Ineligible activities are equipment and processes that focus on recycling or pollution control - scrubbers, filters, dust collectors, etc.

Special Notes

This program is open to any small business owner whose pollution prevention and/or energy efficiency project is located within the Commonwealth of PA.  Business must have 100 or fewer full-time employees and be a separate legal business entity at the time of submission of the application
